With UFC Refusing To Do It, Tito Ortiz Lobbies Boxing’s Top Promoter To Sanction Liddell Trilogy Fight

Former UFC light heavyweight champions Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz formed one of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s most entertaining rivalries during their tenures with the promotion. While both mixed martial arts veterans have since retired from the sport, Ortiz and Liddell have still been hopeful for a trilogy rematch.

Having had no success getting the UFC to sanction the match up, Ortiz has now taken to Instagram to hint that boxing promotion Golden Boy Promotions should consider venturing into the sport of MMA to schedule a rematch for the two fighters.

Chuck Liddell has defeated Tito Ortiz in both of their previous fights, having earned a TKO victory over the fighter back at UFC 47 and at UFC 66.
