The UFC always tries to stack their fight cards with notable names and fights, for fans. However, now in the modern era of the UFC, rarely does a planned fight card stay intact.
Such is the case for the UFC’s debut in Chile.
After losing three fights, including the original main and co-main events, the May 19 fight card is just a shell of it’s former self.
So far, UFC Chile has lost the scheduled “Shogun” Rua vs. Volkan Oezdemir headliner. The card also lost the intriguing welterweight co-main event between Kamaru Usman and Santiago Ponzinibbio.
Then, last week the card lost a flyweight bout between Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno.
