Before there was Conor McGregor’s champ-champ reign, there was Dan Henderson’s.
The United States Olympic wrestler and MMA pioneer and legend was the only man to ever hold two PRIDE FC belts simultaneously.
Henderson would take his world titles to the UFC where he would wind up losing them in unification bouts to Anderson Silva and Rampage Jackson.
Having fought well beyond his prime, Hendon was still a staple of many of MMA events, even stepping up to heavyweight and knocking out Fedor Emelianenko during his hay day with Strikeforce.
Now, after being absent from competition for sometime, the man who seemed to always defy the laws of time and aging is finally settling in to being near 50 years old… And it’s starting to show.
Check out the video above we just grabbed off his latest Instagram story.
