UFC women’s strawweight Angela Hill was recently knocked back from her No. 15 spot on the official division rankings. Now “Overkill” has come forward with a statement over the matter.
Angela Hill recently rebounded from a tough loss to Nina Ansaroff by earning a unanimous decision victory over Maryna Moroz. With that in mind, Hill has still been bumped off of the top 15 of her division.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu phenom Mackenzie Dern took the fighter’s No. 15 spot after earning a swift first round submission finish over Amanda Cooper in her sophomore octagon performance. Dern now holds an undefeated professional record of 7-0 within the sport of mixed martial arts.
Taking to Twitter, Hill has decided to let her thoughts on the matter be known.
“Well this is a big fat slap in the face. I’ve fought top competition, beat #14 and the rankings finally grace me with #15 ranking, just to get bumped by a f**king Flyweight.”
