Former UFC competitor Bec Rawlings has put on an illustrious career within the sport of mixed martial arts. Now the fighter has come forward with a few words concerning her time inside the octagon.
Bec Rawlings has faced off against some of the toughest and most talented fighters the sport has to offer during her time as a professional fighter. Speaking to MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani on the latest edition of The MMA Hour, Rawlings revealed that she regrets facing off against Tecia Torres within the women’s strawweight division back at UFC Fight Night 104.
Unknown to Rawlings at the time, a women’s flyweight division would be implemented just months after the fight.
“I wish I didn’t fight my last fight at 115 against Tecia (Torres). It was a horrible weight cut. I nearly killed myself trying to make that weight. It was just a really bad decision to go ahead with that fight. At that point, they didn’t have the 125 pound division in yet, so I was kind of stuck.”
