Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Pride MMA legend Wanderlei Silva are not exactly friends. The mixed martial arts veterans have throw down on three different occasions, having formed a bad blood rivalry that now extends over a decade.
With that in mind, it would appear that Bellator MMA President Scott Coker is interested in seeing the two fighting phenoms throw down for the promotion.
Jackson is now coming off of a tough loss, having been knocked out of the first round of the recent Bellator heavyweight tournament grand prix. Wanderlei Silva is coming off of a loss in his Bellator debut to the same opponent to have most recently defeated the former UFC title holder, being Chael Sonnen.
Speaking to MMA Fighting, Scott Coker revealed that he would like to see Jackson and Silva throw down a fourth time for fight fans worldwide.
“That’s something that we’re talking to ‘Rampage’ about and talking to Wanderlei about. I would love to make that fight before the end of the year.”
