Santiago, Chile is hosting an entertaining night of fights on Saturday, May 19. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is making its debut within the Movistar Arena for the Santiago crowd, offering a series of stunning bouts.
Former The Ultimate Fighter opponents Brandon Moreno and Alexandre Pantoja are continuing the night’s FS2 prelims with a battle for dominance inside the octagon. Check out the UFC results below.
The two flyweights kicked things off at a brutal pace, entering exchange after exchange from the feet. Pantoja eventually damaged Moreno with a series of strikes, before taking the fighter to the ground.
From the fighter’s back, Pantoja inflicted some serious damage on Moreno with a furry of strikes. However, Moreno was saved by the bell.
This was seemingly a dominant round for Pantoja.
In the second round, Pantoja continued to seemingly get the better of his opponent in the exchanges. However, Moreno was seemingly not interested in backing down.
The fight slowed in the final round, as both fighters appeared gassed from their ten minute octagon war. Still, Pantoja continued to pour on the pressure over his opponent.
Neither fighter was able to get a finish before the end of the round. This one has gone the distance.
