Undefeated UFC welterweight Darren Till is set to face off against two-time former title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson in the main event of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s upcoming UFC Fight Night 130 fight card. With that in mind, the fighter is having some serious weight management issues.
Till missed weight at the official weigh-ins by a staggering total of 3.5 pounds. “Wonderboy” accepted a catchweight bout against his opponent, with Till forced to give up 30 percent of his fight purse for the match.
Beyond that, Till must weigh-in once again at 1 p.m. GMT on Sunday before his match up. The fighter must be no heavier than 188 pounds at the weigh-in or the fight will be called off.
Well, new evidence has revealed that Till had a foot off of the scale during his first weigh-in. The fighter may be even heavier than he initially seemed.
UFC Fight Night 130 goes down this Sunday, May 27, inside the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. The event is set to feature a series of exciting match ups. Check out footage of Till’s foot being off of the scale within the video above and within the image below.
