UFC women’s bantamweight Cat Zingano has taken to social media with another stunning photo of her fighting form that is starting to get some attention from fans.
Zingano is a mixed martial arts phenom. The fighter has earned victories over the likes of former title challenger Raquel Pennington, former champion Miesha Tate and now reigning title holder Amanda Nunes during her career.
Now Zingano is set to face off against Marion Reneau in her next big octagon performance. The two mixed martial artists will throw down for the highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 133.
The event will take place July 14 in Boise, Idaho. Taking to Instagram, Zingano has now decided to offer her fight fans a photo of her weigh-in from one of her earlier fights.
Within the photo, Zingano can be seen hitting the scales at 125 lbs. Check it out below:
“I used to make 125 lbs (in the pink). Every one of my last 8 fights Ive gotten my period exactly the morning of weighing in. Still trying to find out the physiology of why… (let me know if you know). I personally know a LOT of women fighters with the same pattern. The last time I made 125 I almost died, literally.
“I had accomplished my goals and ranked worlds #1 flyweight but my safety was at risk. So I moved up to 135. Messing with my endocrine system, metabolism and hydration caused me to eventually walk around 155-160, as I am now. Be easy and educate yourselves. This shit ain’t pretty.”
