It was announced this week that the UFC has scored a landmark broadcasting deal with sporting giant ESPN, worth a reported $1.5 Billion over the next five years.
The deal signals the end of the UFC’s run with FOX Sports, and the beginning of what will be their third television network.
The UFC’s first T.V. deal was with the Viacom owned SPIKE TV. Then the UFC landed their first major network deal with FOX. Now, the FOX era will be over when the clock strikes 12 on New Years of this year.
