Despite rumors to the contrary, UFC President Dana White just killed any hopes that Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov going down in Russia.
Instead, the UFC boss has other plans, recently telling TMZ that the only place to put on the lightweight title fight is Las Vegas.
Conor McGregor made headlines last month when he attacked a bus carrying the newly minted Russia based UFC champion in Khabib.
He’s now facing criminal charges in the state of New York for his actions.
When talking to TMZ, White dropped the news that he’s not interested in seeing the grudge match go down in Khabib’s home country, stating, “If you do a fight that big, you gotta do it in Vegas.”
“Khabib will fight in Russia at some point, but it wont be that fight. It’s too big. Ya gotta do it in Vegas.”
