Former Strikeforce middleweight title holder and UFC veteran Jake Shields has locked down his next big mixed martial arts performance. This time around, the grappling ace will be throwing down for the Professional Fighters League (PFL).
Formerly known as the World Series of Fighting (WSOF), the PFL is now set to host its third event. PFL 3 goes down July 5 inside the Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C.
Headlining the night’s event, Shields will be facing off against Ray Cooper III.
