Boxing phenom Canelo Alvarez has been receiving some heat from the boxing community as of late. Now drumming legend Travis Barker has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
Alvarez was initially set to face off against champion pugilist Gennady Golovkin in a highly anticipated rematch for Cinco De Mayo. However, the match never came to be.
Alvarez failed multiple drug tests, leading to the boxer being suspended. While Alvarez has since claimed that he ingested contaminated beef, the commission’s decision to suspend the boxer still stands.
Alvarez and Golovkin first faced off back in 2017, with the fight ultimately reaching a highly controversial draw. Now famed drummer for Blink-182 Travis Barker has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
