UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is gearing up for her next big title defense. With that in mind, the fighter has now taken to the internet with a rather unorthodox story about her recent plane ride for fight week.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be hosting the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 224 on May 12 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Headlining the night’s card, Amanda Nunes is set to defend her title from rising challenger Raquel Pennington.
Taking to the internet, Nunes has now come forward to reveal that she has landed in Rio De Janeior and has made it to her hotel. However, the experience on the plane ride was apparently less than joyful.
“I just got in the hotel in Rio and I am going to go to sleep, because in the airplane it was impossible.” Nunes said. “Somebody was farting all night long.”
