Longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan has issued a response to Colby Covington’s recent threat. This time, Rogan has seemingly changed his tone.
Joe Rogan often speaks his mind. After all, the color-commentator has spoken cage side for countless octagon performances.
On his popular podcast JRE MMA Show, Rogan offered some critical words concerning UFC welterweight Colby Covington.
“Jon Jones is going to be in front of you one day.” Rogan said. “You’ve got to be careful, watch your f**king words. You’re going to get slapped in the face by a guy who can kill you with his hands. That’s a bad move.
“I get what Colby’s doing. He’s making a lot of noise and trying to do business. And if you fight him, you’re going to make a lot of money, because a lot of people are going to come and see him get his ass kicked.”
Colby Covington would go on to retaliate by claiming that he may “have to slap” the 50-year-old commentator. Speaking on his podcast once again, Rogan has come forward to ask Covington to not slap him.
