Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones made headlines for failing yet another drug test, having been flagged by USADA for a test from UFC 214. With that in mind, the fighting phenom is now taking the internet by storm for crashing an Albuquerque prom dinner.
Jon Jones was stripped of his title for the third time following his knockout victory at UFC 214 that would later be overturned to a no contest. The fighter failed yet another drug test.
Jones has yet to be dealt a punitive measure from the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) for the incident, but has had his fighting license revoked and has been fined $205,000 by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).
Now local Albuquerque, New Mexico media has reported that Jones recently made a surprise visit to a group of teenagers that were enjoying a dinner ahead of their prom. The fighter even payed the bill for the entire group.
“It was an exciting prom story,” teenager Elijah Davis said. “I texted my family. Everyone was on their phones with their parents. It was pretty cool.”
