Jon Jones Is Having a Rough Time During His First Mother’s Day Without His Mom

For those that have lost, holidays can sometimes feel more like a burden than a celebration. Now experiencing his first Mother’s Day since his mother’s passing, UFC superstar Jon Jones has come forward with a series of messages over social media.

Jon Jones’s mother, Camille Jones, passed away in June of 2017 after a long battle with diabetes. With Mother’s Day for 2018 having now arrived, Jones has come forward to express his emotions.

“First holiday I’ve spent so angry,” the former UFC light heavyweight champion first stated.

“With that being said, I love my mother. I’ll choose to be happy today,” Jones later continued.

“RIP Champ,” Jones stated.

Jon Jones is now awaiting for USADA’s verdict concerning his most recent drug test failure. For failing a drug test for UFC 214, the California Sate Athletic Commission elected to revoke Jones’ license to compete and fined the fighter $205,000.
