UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has decided to issue a new message to former title holder Conor McGregor. This time, “The Eagle” elected to reference the infamous bus attack.
“Notorious” is due back in court June 14 to face misdemeanor charges of assault and felony charges of criminal mischief. On Thursday, April 5, a bus filled with red corner fighters for UFC 223 was attacked by a large group of individuals.
Among them, Conor McGregor was allegedly one of the attackers. The fracas was reportedly a retaliation on McGregor’s part for Nurmagomedov’s previous confrontation with SBG Ireland’s Artem Lobov.
While Nurmagomedov was on the bus, the fighter was not injured during the incident. Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg were, however, each pulled from their UFC 223 match ups due to injuries sustained in the fracas.
Taking to Instagram, Nurmagomedov has now decided to offer McGregor a message on the matter. Check it out below:
“When you see him, tell him: Conor the game has changed, now you have to play like a grown up man, there will no longer be locked buses with security inside and outside, now you have to solve these problems alone, and if you do not want it, just say so, everybody will understand.”
