Mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA offered a series of exciting fights over the weekend. Now the night’s defeated headliner has come forward with a statement.
The highly anticipated fight card of Bellator 199 went down on Saturday, May 12, for fight fans worldwide. The event took place inside the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Headlining the night’s event, light heavyweight champion Ryan Bader faced off against Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal for the first round of the heavyweight tournament grand prix. The grand prix is set to determine the heavyweight champion of the promotion.
Bader made short work of his opponent, earning a knockout victory within the first 15 seconds of the fight. Check out Lawal’s first statement since suffering the loss down below:
