Breaking: Former UFC Champion Michael Bisping Announces His Retirement

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has put on a long and illustrious career within the sport of mixed martial arts. However, “The Count” has now come forward to announce the end of his fighting career.

Michael Bisping ended his career on a first round knockout loss to Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Night 122. Speaking on his podcast Believe You Me, as seen within the video above, Bisping revealed that he is having issues with his “good eye” following the fight. Bisping first damaged his other eye in an all out war with Vitor Belfort earlier in his career.

“Obviously I’ve teased this for some time now, I might fight again.” Bisping said. “I might not. Unfortunately, it’s not another fight that I’m announcing. I am going to announce my official retirement from mixed martial arts.”
