Name Change? Namajunas Contemplating Dropping The “Thug” In “Thug Rose”

After defeating Joanna for a second straight time, UFC strawweight champion “Thug” Rose Namajunas is on a mission to spread positivity.

Finally realizing a dream by dethroning the long standing queen of the UFC’s 115 pound division, Rose did it while remaining true to herself.

Now a full blown star, Rose was recently on the Luke Thomas show where she revealed that her new self might be distancing herself from the name “Thug”.

When asked if this was indeed the case, Rose stated, “No, I think that you could be right. I think I just really want to change what the meaning is behind it.”
