Fight fans made their way to the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England over the weekend for the latest fight card from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With the day of fights having now come to a close, the time has come to take a look at one of the biggest finished from the card.
The highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 130 went down on Sunday, May 27. Among those competing on the card, Liverpool’s own Molly McCann went toe-to-toe with Gillian Robertson.
The fight ultimately ended up at a catchweight, as McCann missed weight for the bout. In the end, the fighter also suffered a brutal loss to her opponent.
Within the second round, Robertson managed to put McCann away in front of her larger opponent’s home crowd. McCann found herself in a rear-naked choke and refused to tap.
