Mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA is now short a main event for its upcoming fight card. Following the news of Mirko Cro Cop’s fight cancelling injury, a new report has revealed the extent of damage the heavyweight fighting veteran has sustained.
The highly anticipated fight card of Bellator 200 is set to go down May 25 inside the SSE Arena in London, England. Initially, the night’s main event was set to feature a heavyweight war for division supremacy between Mirko Cro Cop and fellow former UFC competitor Roy Nelson.
However, Cro Cop has since been removed from the fight card due to an injury. Taking to Twitter, MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani has since reported the extent of Cro Cop’s injuries.
It has been reported that Cro Cop suffered a tear in his ACL, MFL and MAL. Beyond that, the fighter partially tore his MCL and sprained his LCL.
