Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and newly crowned UFC lightweight title holder Khabib Nurmagomedov have entered a heated rivalry over the past years. Now “El Cucuy” has taken to social media to share a video concerning their rivalry with his fight fans.
Ferguson and the Dagestan native have yet to meet inside the octagon. The fighters have been scheduled to throw down a staggering total of four times, with each fight ultimately being cancelled.
Injuries and missed weigh-ins have lead to each fight cancellation. Most recently, Ferguson and Nurmagomedov were set to throw down for the undisputed UFC lightweight title in the main event of UFC 223.
On just six days notice, “El Cucuy” tore his LCL from his knee and was forced to pull out of the fight. Now Ferguson has taken to Instagram to share a video of his video game character from EA Sports UFC 3 knocking out his heated rival for all the world to see.
