Kicking things off in June, the UFC returns to Chicago with what is being called the smoked stacked event of the year, UFC 225.
Over the course of the past two-years, the UFC has seen an unheard of amount of fight cancellations. Partly due to injuries suffered in training, partly due to USADA, and partly due to other reasons.
These days it’s not a UFC event if someone doesn’t back out at the last minute, and Chicago just took it’s first hit.
Originally scheduled to face Bobby Green, Clay Guida has been forced to accept a fight against a last minute replacement in Charles Oliveira, due to a Green injury.
That’s the only change to the card as it stands now.
Clay Guida himself announced the news:
UFC 225 takes place on June 9. The night’s main card will air live on pay-per-view.
