The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has hosted another exciting night of fights. Following the night’s controversial main event, fighters are now coming forward over social media to offer their thoughts on the match up.
The highly anticipate fight card for UFC Fight Night 130 went down inside the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England on Sunday, May 27. Headlining the event, Liverpool’s own Darren Till put his undefeated streak on the line as he faced off against No. 1 ranked two-time former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson.
Till missed weight for the fight by 3.5 pounds, but “Wonderboy” accepted a catchweight match up against the fighter. The two mixed martial artists went the distance, with Till ultimately earning a unanimous decision victory over Thompson with a score of 48-47, 49-46 and 49-46.
The decision has since drawn some controversy from fighters and fight fans alike. Check out what many competitors had to say about the decision within the social media messages below:

Stephen Thompson’s karate style is one of the more difficult conundrums in the sport. Let’s see what Till has up his sleeve. #UFCLiverpool

It’s crazy that someone HAS to win the RD, based on the the trend of judges. That’s as even as a RD gets. Seriously, who won that?! #UFCLiverpool

Till vs Wonderboy is a testament to horrible striking. They both talk big game and confidence but non of them believe in their striking. #WeakMinded

Really close fight, no one was robbed. But the hometown crowd noise for Till influenced the scoring IMO. @ufc
