Undefeated UFC welterweight Darren Till missed weight on Saturday. Now UFC competitors are taking to social media to let their thoughts on the matter be known.
Till is set to headliner UFC Fight Nighg 130 in his hometown of Liverpool, England on Sunday, May 27. The fighter is set to take on former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson for the match up.
However, Till missed weight by 3.5 pounds. Thompson has since accepted a catchweight against Till for 30 percent of the fighter’s purse.
Taking to social media, many UFC fighters have since offered their thoughts. Check it out below:
I guess if you ain't cheating you ain't trying right Darrell? @darrentill2 You fat fuck. Back of the line junior ?. #UFCLiverpool #NerdBash2018 #makewelterweightgreatagain pic.twitter.com/jn6hLsyddn

I m not ok with that . Why fighters who do it correctly will have to be check all the time , it’s annoying . I’m more taking off 75% off the purse than just 20%. You ll see more serious control about weight from fighters trust me ! https://t.co/31MC0Unl0u

Why kill yourself to make the last few pounds when you can use that advantage the next day & win ??♀️? https://t.co/jlHE9p87FD

Gotta spend money to make money, @darrentill2 has the advantage now. In a game of milliseconds 4lbs can make you or break you @ufc

Till missed weight agreement is that he can only weigh 188 tomorrow. That's a big blow looking at Till I'd imagine he gets up to about 195 fight day

I will say this final thing about weigh ins, all the negotiations are fine but in the end being over is an advantage. So, I am willing to give my opponent as long as he needs to make weight as long as I or someone in my camp is present. That puts all the responsibility on them.

All I’m saying is there’s not much of a sleep gap in-between weight cuts some fighters would be up at 5 in the morning after cutting some before bed

Was never a big fan of early weight-ins it’s just to hard to get up that early to start cutting weight @btsportufc
