The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in Liverpool, England over the weekend. Now one of the day’s competitors has decided to come forward with an update on his bruised face.
The highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 130 took place inside the SSE Arena in Sunday, May 27. Headlining the night’s card, Liverpool’s own Darren Till earned a unanimous decision victory over No. 1 ranked two-time former welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson.
Also featured on the day’s card, UFC middleweight Eric Spicely went toe-to-toe with Darren Stewart in a battle for division supremacy. In the end, Stewart earned a stunning TKO victory over his opponent within the second round.
Taking to Twitter, Spicely has decided to offer a look at his bruised face just two days removed from fight night. Check it out below:
“Liverpool was amazing. Thank you @ufc for the opportunity. Thanks to my coaches. Thanks to my teammates and friends. #occupationalhazards”
