UFC’s Alexa Grasso Breaks Her Silence On Saturday’s Co-Main Event Loss In Chile

UFC women’s strawweight Alexa Grasso went toe-to-toe with Tatiana Suarez over the weekend. Following the fighter’ difficult loss, Grasso has decided to come forward with a statement.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made its big debut in Santiago, Chile on Saturday, May 19, for the highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 129. Grasso and Suarez co-headlined the night’s card, offering a swift match up for the Santiago crowd.

Suarez made short work of her opponent, earning a submisison victory within the first round of their bout. Taking to Instagram, Alexa Grasso has now decided to offer a few words concerning her recent loss.

Check out a translation from the message below:

“We like to talk about when we’re doing well, when everything is beautiful and perfect. But I know it’s also good to show that side that nobody likes, those moments that give us a bitter drink. Last night I played with a mataleon in round 1 and I almost fell asleep! Life is like this,as a great bet, they offered me this fight and my first reaction was to say to my coaches – of course, we must take great challenges, because these opportunities are to prepare as never and face them in the best way.”
