Former Pride king Wanderlei Silva is seemingly still looking to throw down with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson in another war for their long standing and heated rivalry. Now the fighter has come forward with a few words on the matter.
Wanderlei Silva and “Rampage” have traded blows on three separate occasions. In their latest outing, Jackson earned a first round knockout over the fighter.
That being said, Silva manged to finish Jackson in their two bouts before that. Now 2-3 in their rivalry, Silva is looking to gain another victory over the former UFC light heavyweight champion.
As reported by MMA Junkie, Bellator MMA is targeting a bout between Silva and Jackson though a date has yet to be determined.
Silva has since come forward to claim that he would like the fight to take place inside the Arena da Baixada in his hometown of Curitiba, where the fighter would like to co-promote. Speaking on the possibility of the fight against “Rampage” not coming to fruition, Silva said”
“I think Bellator ought to give me Dan Henderson. Maybe Vitor Belfort is going to come to Bellator. I think people like to watch our fights.”
