Two-time former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir is now acting as a promoter for Russian mixed martial arts promotion Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB). With that in mind, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu phenom was recently forced to get between two of the promotion’s competitors.
ACB 87 is set to go down this Saturday, May 19, inside the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England. Featured in the night’s card, mixed martial artists Robert Whiteford And Kane Mousa are set to throw down for the Nottingham crowd.
During the recent weigh-ins for the event, the two fighters met face to face. Mir was nearby on stage, observing the crowd and the fighters alike.
Whiteford And Mousa quickly entered a physical confrontation that ended just as swiftly as it began. Mir swooped in and snagged one of the nearby fighters, effortlessly pulling the man away from his foe.
