The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) put on another entertaining night of fights over the weekend. However, the fight night did not go without its controversy.
The highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 130 took place inside the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England on Sunday, May 27. Headlining the day’s event, No. 1 ranked two-time former welterweight title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson faced off against Liverpool’s own undefeated fighter Darren Till.
Till missed weight for the fight by 3.5 pounds, but “Wonderboy” ultimately accepted a catchweight match up against the fighter. The two mixed martial artists went the distance, with Till earning a unanimous decision victory in the end.
However, the UFC on FOX crew for the event was seemingly not on board with the judges’ decision. Check out why Karyn Bryant, Jimmy Smith and Michael Chiesa were not in agreement with the decision within the video provided below.
