Another exciting day of fights took place over the weekend, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship just finished hosting a big fight card. Following Stephen Thompson’s tough loss in the day’s headliner, the fighter has come forward with a few words.
UFC Fight Night 130 went down on Sunday, May 27, inside the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. In the day’s main event, “Wonderboy” went toe-to-toe with Liverpool’s own Darren Till.
Till ultimately earned a unanimous decision victory over his opponent, leading to some controversy among fight fans. Speaking to media after the fight, Thompson offered his thoughts on the matter.
“I thought I had four of the rounds. I thought maybe a controversial three. The only good shot he landed as the fifth round. But, I felt comfortable out there. I knew he was big, so I had to stay on my bike and keep moving.”
