The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is putting on another night of fights over the weekend. Now it’s time to take a look at the UFC results from the night’s event.
UFC Fight Night 129 is going down inside the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chila on Saturday, May 19. In the night’s featured FS2 prelim, welterweights Zak Cummings and Michel Prazeres are now going toe-to-toe inside the octagon.
The first round kicked off at a methodical pace, as each fighter began gauging their opponent’s reach and power. However, things eventually picked up as Prazeres began pushing the pace on his opponent. This will be a tough round for the judges.
Cummings fired back in the second round with a vengeance. The fired dished out a series of strikes, before being taken down by Prazeres. Back on their feet, the two fighters finished the round with a war of exchanges.
Prazeres and Cummings left it all inside the octagon within the final round. Prazeres continued to push the pace, but Cummings retaliated with counter after counter.
Still, neither fighter was able to get a finish before the sound of the bell. This one has gone the distance.
UFC Results: Michel Prazeres def. Zak Cummings via split decision (29-28, 28-29 and 29-28)
