Former UFC women’s strawweight Angela Magana is looking to make a big comeback as mixed martial artist, but also as a professional athlete. Now the fighter has taken to social media to announce that she is looking to make her way to the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Angela Magana was cut from the UFC roster after suffering a three fight losing streak inside the octagon and a five fight losing streak in her MMA career. Taking to Twitter, Magana has now decided to announce that she will be training for the 2020 Summer Olympics freestyle wrestling competition.
“Couldnt sleep. Im extremely hungry for my dream of wrestling in the Olympics and im close to locking in all the details for next MMA fight on my contract, for example. No TKO (I must be completely out), and no standing us up from guard. #YourMajesty #TeamLaPerla #PRSELEVANTA”
