One of the biggest rivalries in MMA history is between Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva.
Having fought three times, twice in PRIDE and once in the UFC, Rampage Jackson still owes Wanderlei one more K.O. to settle the score and make it 2-2.
Now, according to Bellator representatives, both Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva will be in attendance at a just announced press-conference in New York, on Tuesday. Bellator has called the press conference for what they are saying is the announcement of a “Can’t miss event”.
As if the writing wasn’t alrady on the wall, Wanderlei Silva has also come out stating the fight is on.
”Like people say, it’s very hard for a good professional to retire. I just got a call from Bellator inviting to be part of the Sept. 29 (card) against Quinton Jackson in the main event in California. It’s our fourth bout, I won two of the first three, so it’s 2-1 for me.”
