UFC women’s flyweight Paige VanZant is engaged to fellow mixed martial artist Austin Vanderford. Now it would appear that the fighter may soon have his own shot at making it to the roster of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series is dedicated to rooting out new and exciting MMA prospects and offering them each a shot at making it onto the roster of the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion. Now ESPN’s Brett Okamoto has come forward over social media to report that Austin Vanderford has been signed to compete against Angelo Trevino on July 17 under the banner of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Vanderford is currently undefeated in his MMA career, having earned a professional record of 3-0.
