It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now short a headliner for one of the promotion’s upcoming fight cards. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is scrambling to find a replacement opponent for the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale.
The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale goes down July 6, as part of International Fight Week. The event will take place inside the Pearl Theatre in Las Vegas, Nev.
The night’s headliner was initially set to see middleweights Brad Tavares and Israel Adesanya face off in a battle for division dominance. However, Tavares has since been removed from the night’s card.
