UFC women’s strawweight Claudia Gadelha made her latest octagon performance over the weekend. Now the fighter has taken to social media to reveal that she was suffering from an injury during the match up.
Gadelha went toe-to-toe with Carla Esparza at UFC 225 on Saturday, June 9. Gadelha pulled herself out of a recent loss with a split decision victory over “The Cookie Monster.”
Taking to Instagram, Gadelha has since revealed that she was suffering from a strained ligament in her knee during the fight.
“Big thanks to all my coaches, teammates, friends, family and specially this awesome lady @heatherlinden that helped me to fight with a strained ligament on my knee.”
