Phil Brooks, better known by his WWE moniker CM Punk, is now just days away from his big octagon return. Following an intense legal battle that has taken place during his training camp, Punk has now come forward with a few words.
CM Punk and fellow professional wrestling star Colt Cabana have been in litigation with Dr. Chris Amann, doctor to many of the WWE. Amann pressed a lawsuit against the pair for allegedly defaming him in a 2014 podcast, in which Amann desired $4 million and additional punitive damages.
However, Punk was found not guilty on Tuesday, June 5. It was later reported that the former WWE star was seen hugging his wife and crying within the courtroom after the hearing.
Now, just days from his fight against Mike Jackson at UFC 225, Punk has returned with a few words on the situation. Check it out below:
