UFC welterweight Colby Covington has set a new mission concerning his upcoming interim title fight. The polarizing mixed martial artist wants to bring the belt to the Oval Office.
Colby Covington is now set to face off against former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos. The two mixed martial artist will fight for the interim welterweight title on the highly anticipated live pay-per-view main card of UFC 225.
Co-headlining the event, dos Anjos and Covington will fight inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Speaking to MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani, Colby Covington revealed that he wants to earn the interim title and then take the belt to U.S. President Donald Trump.
“I’m all about Trump.” Covington said. “I want to bring the belt to the Oval Office and put it on his desk.”
