UFC superstar Conor McGregor and reigning UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov are proverbially chomping at the bit for a chance to meet each other inside the octagon. Now McGregor’s head coach has come forward to claim that the fight will likely happen before the year’s end.
Conor McGregor is currently facing misdemeanor and felony charges for the alleged attack on a UFC bus from April 5, in which “The Eagle” was reportedly the intended target for having a confrontation with McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov days earlier. Ever since then, McGregor and Nurmagomedov have been targeting a super fight against each other.
Speaking at a recent event, as provided by MMA Weekly, SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh revealed that he believes it is likely that McGregor vs. Nurmagomedov occures before the end of the year.
