The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up to host another exciting night of fights. Now UFC President Dana White has come forward with his thoughts on one of the night’s match ups.
The highly anticipated fight card of UFC 225 is set to take place this Saturday, June 9, from within the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and Colby Covington will battle it out for the interim welterweight title in the night’s co-main event. However, it would appear that Dana White believes that the fight may not live up to some fight fans’ expectations.
“One of the first things, every time there is a huge grudge match where two guys hate each other, the fight usually sucks.” Dana White said, when asked his opinion on dos Anjos vs. Covington. “So, hopefully that’s not the case tomorrow. You are always expecting the guys to run right out and attack each other and it never happens.”
