In order to root out top and exciting talent within the sport of mixed martial arts, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently produced a new show. With a new selection of fighting prospects signed on, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is gearing up for another season.
Season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series has now locked down a date and fight card for the season’s first episode. While MMA phenom Nick Newell is set to compete on the new season, another notable up and comer landed a shot on the first episode. Former NFL star and controversial fighter Greg Hardy will be competing.
Kicking off the season on June 12, five fighters will be squaring off in an attempt to impress UFC President Dana White into adding them to the promotion’s roster. Check out the fight card for the live UFC Fight Pass event down below:
