First Footage Of CM Punk’s Opponent Training Surfaces, And He’s Not Very Good — Watch

Phil Brooks, better known by his WWE moniker CM Punk, is currently getting ready for his big octagon return. Now footage of the professional wrestler turned fighter’s opponent in training has hit the internet.

CM Punk made his big octagon debut against Mickey Gall, ultimately suffering a devastating loss that sent the former WWE star back to the proverbial drawing board for two years. Now Punk is set to take a shot at redemption.

Rather than fighting Mickey Gall, Punk will be taking on Mike Jackson. Jackson suffered a tough loss to Gall in his octagon debut as well, creating an interesting dynamic between Punk and Jackson.

The two budding mixed martial artists are set to throw down on the live pay-per-view main card of UFC 225. The highly anticipated event goes down this Saturday, June 9, inside the United Center in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

Footage of Mike Jackson hard in training for the upcoming match up has since hit the internet, showing off some of the fighter’s skills ahead of fight night. However, fight fans have come to criticize Jackson’s seemingly underwhelming pad work and general performance.
