Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and reigning title holder Daniel Cormier has formed one of the most heated rivalries within the sport of mixed martial arts today. Following a recent comment from Cormier, “Bones” Jones has now decided to fire back over social media.
Daniel Cormier recently claimed that he refuses to give Jon Jones a “platform,” following Jones’ most recent drug test failure. Rather, Cormier is dissociating his career from the former champion and focusing on his upcoming heavyweight title fight against Stipe Miocic.
Taking to Twitter, Jon Jones has decided to fire back with a few choice words of his own. Check it out below:
“I don’t have a platform DC? That just sounds dumb. Even after years of suspension I have just as much if not more of a platform than you. Every win you get goes on my resume, You know who you dream about at night. I’m sure your wife knows too”

“At first I thought you were trying to convince the fans I beat you because of performance enhancing drugs but now I’m pretty sure you have convinced yourself too. keep doing that”

“Good thing for you, the next time we fight I’ll be all cleaned up. Let’s see you dominate me this time since I cheated the first two”
