UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington and former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones were once roommates. However, the two mixed martial artists have since become enemies over social media.
Covington recently accused his former roommate of using performance enhancing drugs. Now “Bones” Jones has taken to social media to jokingly anyone to hit Covington with a boomerang, in reference to former UFC heavyweight champion Fabrico Werdum’s assault on the fighter in Australia.
Jones has also come forward with a response to Covington’s accusations. However, both social media messages have since been deleted.
“You’re a special type of liar bro and honestly I feel sorry for you. Actually think I feel more sorry for anyone in your life who believes a word that comes out of your mouth. The way lies can just roll off your tongue is honestly impressive. You’re disgusting”
