UFC women’s strawweight Mackenzie Dern is currently riding a victory from her sophomore octagon performance. Now the fighter has set her sights on a third.
Mackenzie Dern put her undefeated streak on the line when she signed with the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion and faced off against Ashley Yoder at UFC 222 for her octagon debut. However, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu phenom ultimately walked away with a split decision victory.
Since then, Dern has earned a first round submission win over Amanda Bobby Cooper at UFC 224. Speaking to Combate, Mackenzie Dern revealed that she is now interested in fighting on Nov. 3 in New York.
The live pay-per-view event for UFC 230 is currently being targeted for Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 3. Now it would appear that Dern is dedicated to making her way onto the fight card for the event.
