CM Punk first faced off against Mickey Gall for his octagon debut. Gall put on a dominant performance over the fighter, earning a stunning first round submission finish.
Punk has been hard in training for the past two years following the devastating defeat. Now the fighter is set to face off against Mike Jackson, another competitor to suffer a defeat to Mickey Gall in their octagon debut.
Jackson and Punk are set to go toe-to-toe at UFC 225. The fighters will face off on the live pay-per-view main card from within the United Center in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, June 9.
With the fight now only days away, a video of Punk working hard in his training has hit the internet. Within the clip, Punk can be seen having seemingly improved a great deal since his octagon debut.
