The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) had to make a swift change to the main event of one of the promotion’s upcoming fight cards after a competitor dropped out. Now the fighter’s replacement is already kicking up dust over social media.
The highly anticipated fight card for UFC Fight Night 135 goes down Aug. 25 from within the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event was initially set to see Al Iaquinta face Justin Gaethje in the night’s headliner.
However, Iaquinta has since pulled out of the match up. Consequently, the UFC elected to pair James Vick and Justin Gaethje for the night’s main event.
